Altered

A word from the heart of God; Altered. 

When something is altered it means there’s a change in character or composition, typically in a comparatively small but significant way. I think a lot of people want some kind of change in their life and because the change they’re seeking seems daunting, I believe most people don’t even make an effort to change. The interesting thing is God has done all the hard work already. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” We have two tasks at hand; the first one is to trust in God and not ourselves. The second one is to put God first in our lives and acknowledge Him above all things. I believe if we do those two things, our lives would be divinely altered by God, and God alone would make a clear and straight path visible to us. God alters, while we follow.
