Find It

A word from the heart of God; Find it.

I often play these seek-and-find games with my granddaughter. We look at a page of a book cluttered with items and then I tell her to look closely and find certain items. This is wonderful training for her because it helps her focus on specific items in the midst of many distractions. I believe God is using today’s word to help us be more intentional. If you don’t know what you’re seeking then you will have nothing to aim for in life. Here are a few questions to ask. What am I seeking at home? For me, the quick answer is peace, tranquility, and rest in the Lord. Another good question is, what are you seeking in those relationships that are closest to your heart? For me, the answer would be maturity in oneself, a quest for faith, a desire to be selfless, a heart that moves generously, and one’s ability to prioritize peace, love, honor, and respect. If you take the time to intentionally seek things in your home, in your relationships, your workplace, and your church, then you will move past the distractions of the devil and find what you are looking for. Do not settle for less than what God has predestined for you. Find it!

You are loved, Kris
