Courts of Heaven

A word from the heart of God; Courts of Heaven.

Have you ever been in a courtroom? I remember going with my son to deal with a traffic ticket. I gave him specific instructions and they were non-negotiable. I told him, if you want me to accompany you, you must dress respectfully and conduct yourself in front of the prosecutor and judge professionally and with the highest esteem and honor. I told him you must tell the truth and be humble and be grateful for any mercy extended regardless of whether he agreed with the outcome or not. My beautiful son Jared complied and the judge responded favorably. Accountability, humility, and respect are what a judge looks for in the courtroom. I’m sharing this today because God loves order. That is why as you read His word, He refers to commandments and laws. Kings 2:21:5 says, “And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.” The devil can be seen as the prosecutor and God as the judge. The devil is allowed in God’s courtroom because it’s his job to accuse you as a sinner. As he does that, God as judge listens to the accusations and responds accordingly. Do not give the devil the ammunition he is looking for; instead, allow humility, love, respect, honor, and true mature accountability to lead you in life. You have every weapon you need to defeat the biggest coward there is; the devil. There is favor extended in the courts of Heaven.

You are loved. Kris
